Data deletion

We do not hold a server-side copy of your videos. This page covers local app data and the technical records described in our privacy policy.

Local data

Uninstalling stops future activity from that installation and removes its local app data. On Android, Settings → Apps → Compress Video → Storage also lets you clear local preferences, cache and history. Saved Photos or gallery videos remain under your control. These actions do not automatically delete records already sent to service providers.

Request deletion

Email kwizustudio@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion”. Include your device make and model, app version, interface language and approximate period of use. The app does not collect a name or email account, so these details may be needed to locate the relevant installation. Do not send private videos or payment card information.

We use these details to locate relevant records and handle the request with our service providers where applicable. We aim to reply within 30 days. Our PostHog technical measurements are retained for up to twelve months.

Older Android versions

Android versions before 1.8.0 may have used AdMob and RevenueCat. For a purchase-related request, include the transaction reference if available. Providers may retain records for their service or legal requirements. Deletion is not a refund request. See the earlier Android policy.
